Second Time was perfect

George was at our local animal services. His family had surrendered him saying they could no loner care for him. George is a medium size dog, senior in age and has LOTS of thick hair. He was quickly adopted but we soon realized to the wrong person. George was described as not social,he didn”t eat well, not house trained, would go outside and come back indoors and immediately do his business. He also had no desire to be with his human adopter. we quickly reacted because this was NOT the George we knew !! George came back to Senior Paws Sanctuary defeated ! WE HAD MADE A HORRIBLE MISTAKE ! After returning to us, he was checked out by our vet, no issues we found to warrant bathroom issues and we allowed him time to decompose. He ate well, he did his business outdoors and he accepted attention and love. George was adopted a second time, and this time its a perfect home ! Sara and Kenny had adopted two other SPS dogs , one had passed and Tasha a little female Yorkie is still l sharing her days with them. George fit right in ! All of his said issues were either false or due to stress in his living conditions . We are happy to say that today his family speaks of a dog that loves attention, loves to cuddle and they are so happy they adopted him . He is doing great and enjoying life ! George will forever be loved !!
